March 1-7 Pastel Hues: Think blush pinks, periwinkle blues, mint greens, and soft yellows. There are so many delicate shades to choose from. Intimidated by girly colors? Start with your favorite basics, then implement color in little touches like jewelry, shoes or a handbag.
March 8-15 Feel Good Florals: What else could be more appropriate for Spring? Flowers are blooming everywhere we turn, even here in the desert. Floral Spring dresses come in many styles and prints. Soft and mini floral prints are on trend this season, adding a feminine and delicate touch to any piece. Feeling adventurous? Don’t be afraid to mix and match. March 16-23 Pretty In Pink: There are countless shades to choose from. Embrace your femininity with a flirty dress or a sweet blouse. Hot pink trousers? We’re all in. Casually layer with a denim jacket or cardigan for a laid back daytime look. Throw on a blazer and some pumps for an unexpected office look. Heading out? Try a delicate lace top & a leather jacket for the perfect blend of sweet and edgy. March 24-31 Feminine Touches: Girly touches can be added in so many ways. Ideas include elegant lace, colorful hues, soft chiffon, and silky fabrics. Want to make an impact? Try a delicately draped wrapped silk or satin dress. Slip dress styles are all the rage. Prefer to keep it simple? Simply silk or satin tops make a subtle feminine statement, plus pair with dark wash denim and a simple heel or flat to make it more daytime casual.

There’s nothing better than finding the perfect utility shirt that just screams fall. I scored this gorgeous blouse at Loft’s last 50% off sale and had to resist buying every one they had. Shop my look below and check out the other gorgeous styles I’m crushing on!
Statement earrings are a fantastic way to add a little extra to your outfit and can give something basic that extra "oomph". Bonus points if it matches your highlighter!
Unfortunately, earrings are always hit or miss with me because of my past earlobe choices. Sounds strange right? Let me explain...when I was 19 I decided to stretch (or gauge) my three lower piercings to size 2. You can see my second hole is still gauged. And before you ask, yes I only have one earring. When I was 12 my mom didn't want me to get another piercing, but my genius little self was able to convince her into letting me and my sister "split the piercing", you know "because of all the lost earrings I can wear". Although I love statement earrings and how cute they can be! Even now at 27, I'm still debating whether or not I want to go back to gauges all the time. The reason that I took them out was because I had just gotten engaged and I decided that I wanted to wear my grandmothers jewelry. I didn't wear earrings or anything for about a year just so I could wear her opals that she passed down to me.
I've never been good at changing my jewelry and adding all those statement pieces, especially because weight is always an issue. These adorable (and cheap) chunky earrings I wore today would probably be totally fine for normal earlobes, and I did okay, but I only lasted for about 4 hours before I took them out! For all you earring lovers (and wearers) out there, I linked some adorable statement pieces below so I can vicariously live through you!
Animal print is always in style and add in cropped dress joggers, yes it's a thing, and I'm in heaven. I bought these pants a few seasons ago and am still in love with them. They're business in the front and a party in the back. Party meaning the amazing fact that the back half of the waist line is all elastic and makes for a comfortable day. I rocked these at work today with my Christian Siriano Flats that I got for half price! I can't find them anywhere online but linked similar, local Payless stores may still have them. Shop my look below, and check out my other animal print combo as well!
Nothing screams confidence like a great jumpsuit. They were all the rage in the 1970's. As we have seen with fashion over the eras, everything always comes back around. Jumpsuits have been maintaining a pretty steady status over the past couple of years, and frankly, I'm all for it! This 'Retro Rose' Jumpsuit is unique with the front abdomen cutout, faux button up top, and wide leg. It also features a ruched back with a long zipper down the spine. It ensures the most fabulous fit. Seriously, nobody wants to ever feel like they can't breathe! None of that here wit this floral number.
Sometimes you just find a dress that makes you weak in the knees because you love it so much. Appropriately named the 'Free Fallin' dress', you'll find it ideal for dressing up or down with extreme ease! Oh and trust me, it's even lovelier in person. As you look closer, you'll see the subtle detailing, all perfectly placed. Little additions like the neon patterned neckline and subtle criss cross straps make it so much more than just another white dress. Trust me, you don't want to miss this one!
I don't know about you, but I love me some fun pants! I have a small collection of some of the most fun patterned pants that I like to mix into my style. I scored this pair at Forever 21 and it's like harem meets trousers. I love that more stores are carrying palazzo, culottes, and fluid style bottoms. I guess I have to start bringing mine out of the back of my closet! I linked a similar pair below and some cute new styles, ya know, just in case ;) p.s. at it again scoring those $3 shoes from Walmart! Floral | H&M | $9.99
Vince Camuto Animal | Nordstrom | $99 Boho Palazzo | Charlotte Russe | $16.24 on sale (reg. $24.99) Tropic Culottes | LOFT | $69.50 Fife Print Palazzo | Nordstrom | $88 I'm pretty sure trading clothes is one of my favorite pastimes with Ashley, lol! But seriously, it's so fun because we are able to trade items we realized we never wear, maybe think the color will look better on each other, or realize it wasn't the perfect fit after all. It's so fun, especially since I have no luck selling clothes online or to "buy back stores" (if you have advice please leave a comment!!) , so since I can't sell them I might as well just trade right? Click that read more button and check out this gorgeous top!
I am a sucker for a great floral dress, almost as much as I'm a sucker for a dress with pockets. Both need to be done right. Large all-over prints can be overdone on the wrong type of piece. Poorly placed pockets can leave you looking bulky. Nobody wants any of that.
Thankfully, there are design and style experts that are just that... experts! They know just the right prints and pattern placements that leave us swooning. Next thing you know, you've added yet another fabulous piece to your wardrobe. Oops. But it wasn't our fault they make it all utterly irresistible! At least that's what I keep telling myself(& my husband, hehehe)! Pretty and feminine, it's so hard to go wrong with a good floral print. Spring is such a lovely time of year. Flowers are blooming, everything is full of life and color. Why not let your wardrobe reflect the same? One of the many benefits of floral, it doesn't discriminate! Pretty patterns of roses and wildflowers work on dresses, maxis, and rompers alike.
