Not going to lie, I was always a little skeptical of LulaRoe before I tried it. I was like "why are these leggings so expensive?" or "seriously, for a t-shirt?!". But, after trying their leggings and a Julia, I can totally see why so many people are into LulaRoe!
Seriously though, Liz sent me my first ever Julia, and I am so in love! I pulled it out of the package and was so intrigued by the unique geometric pattern. I wasn't sure how it would look on me but I ended up absolutely loving it! This is a small and I even dried it twice and it didn't shrink, hello amazing! I wanted a more figured look, so I decided to throw on a belt to match my shoes and purse. I love how the look can be so versatile. I even threw on the denim jacket to change it up even more!
I think the best part about this is how "work appropriate" it is! I love shopping at my usual stores, but I've noticed lately (probably the older I get...) that a lot of the styles and trends are not teacher friendly, because you know we have that whole dress code thing too. Most inseams are too short, straps are too thin, and dresses are too tight! It was great to try on a dress that I know I can wear to work, and mix up and wear multiple ways. I think this will be a fantastic transition dress, obviously to spring, but add in some tights and a cardi and this babe will be ready for fall as well! I definitely see more Lula Roe in my future, as long as it can fit into my budget!!
